BEHAVIOUR

The school has a very good behaviour policy. OFSTED findings stated that:

Provision for monitoring and promoting discipline and good behaviour, are very good. The behaviour of pupils is very good. The school policy is implemented well. Pupils are polite and courteous.

Our aims for behaviour are that the children will:

  • be tolerant and understanding with consideration for the rights, views and property of others
  • develop a responsible and co-operative attitude towards work and towards their roles in society
  • achieve their potential in terms of self-esteem, academic achievement, aesthetic appreciation and spiritual awareness
  • take a pride and responsible interest in caring for the environment.
  • We want our school to be a happy caring community. We aim to encourage discipline and self-discipline. We believe that the encouragement of good behaviour is a partnership between school and home. Any concerns about a child’s behaviour will be fully discussed with parents.
