Reading:

The children have a Maths and English task set daily and one Topic, Science and the Spellings which can be completed at any point over the week. Please scroll down to find the weekly activities at the bottom of this page.

Daily Tasks:

Monday:

Science/Geog/Topic: See the attached Power Point on the Rainforest climate.

Now complete a daily weather chart and compare to Madagascar – see attached.

English: See the attached Rainforest comprehension – There are 3 different levels as you go through the pages 1* / 2**/ 3*** - Please choose the one suitable for your child’s reading level. Thank you.

Practise your spellings daily using one of the activities from our school's spelling approach.

Please write up your plant investigation (from Week beginning 20th April) and evaluate your results. (page 2 of attachment OR use your own format)

Don’t worry if you didn’t get to do the investigation; a task has been set for you on Purple Mash:

Topic:

“The Rainforest” – Layers – attached is the Power Point from last week.

Begin to create a poster or model on one of the Rainforest layers – try to make it really colourful and add the different animals and birds that are found mainly living in the layer you have chosen.
