The children have a Maths and English task set daily and one Topic, Science and Spellings task which can be completed at any point over the week. Please scroll down to find the weekly activities at the bottom of this page.

 

Daily Tasks:

As always, please encourage your child to read daily and complete their yellow reading record.

 

Monday:

Maths: Today we are looking are comparing and ordering decimals. Use the information sheet if you get stuck!

Mrs Hanby’s Maths group:

English: This week’s tasks are all based on an extract from another book. You will find out the name of the book later in the week.

Tuesday:

Maths: Today we are making number patterns using decimals.

Practise your spellings daily using one of the activities from our school's spelling approach:

Science: 

This week, we are starting a new science topic on ‘Sound’. We are going to start with how you hear sounds. Read the powerpoint and create an explanation for what you learned.

Topic: 

Our topic is called ‘Save our Planet! We need to take care of our planet in lots of different ways. This week, we are looking at plastic pollution. Read the powerpoint to find out more information then complete the task.

RE:

We are going to be looking at the religion ‘Sikhism’ – starting with Guru Nanak. Read the powerpoint then create your own presentation about him or complete the sheet below.
