Science:

Our Science topic this term is ‘Plants’.

Can you label the parts of a tree? Use the resources below to help you. There are 3 different options of labelling tasks so choose the task you think you will be able to complete.

Topic:

Our topic this term is called ‘In Grandma’s Day’. In this topic we will be looking at changes within living memory. Our first focus is on toys.

Have a look at the presentation about the games children used to play. Do any of these look like games you play today? Can you make your own boardgame? Use the ideas and video links in the presentation to help you design your own boardgame.

Phonics:

Ruth Miskin is doing live phonics streaming daily with different sets of speed sounds. She holds sessions at 9.30/10.00/10.30 in the mornings. This follows the same format as our phonics sessions in school. The children can practise set 2 and 3 sounds.

You could practise phonics daily using the weblink listed below.

Keep an eye on the English resources section of our class webpage as we will be adding phonics resources and sounds that the children can practise. This week we have added set 2 multi-syllabic words to practise.
