Week 1 Lesson 5: Scale Factors

Many of you found the scale factor activity on purple mash challenging; this lesson should help improve your understanding and refresh your memory. 

Watch the video and complete the resources attached.

You might want to hear it read aloud as well as reading it for yourself.

English: Read the text from yesterday again and think about the different characters in the opening of the novel.

You can hit the "i" icon for more information as well as completing your own research, the "think about box" will also help you with wat content you should be including. 

You may wish to complete your own information leaflet on paper instead of doing it on purple mash.

You need to present your information in an informative manner about the key organs in a human body (heart, lungs, brain, liver, kidneys, intestines and skin), how they are used and how we can keep them healthy. 



Read through the presentation.


Challenge: have a go at labeling the UK and Greece on the map. Next, label countries in Europe without using a map, then check them.
