Monday:

Maths:  For Maths this week, we will be revising the four operations; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. If you wish to compete any additional Maths, activities can be found further down the page.

Complete the revision task attached, you may need complete the calculations using a written method on a separate page.

English: Read through the introduction to this week’s task. You may wish to complete the activities suggested in preparation for the activities this week. Read the extract, we will refer to this through the week.

Wednesday:

English: Complete Activity 4 and 5.

Thursday:

Maths:  Complete the revision task attached.

English: Complete Activity 6 and 7.

Friday:

Maths:  Complete the revision task attached.

English: Complete Activity 8. You may use the planning template on the page or complete your own plan on a separate page.

Maths Mystery Option:

If you are finding any of the Maths difficult, please complete the mystery attached across the week instead of the Maths for each day.

Science:

How can we keep our heart healthy? Do you know what cholesterol is? What does it mean to have a healthy body?

Read the information on the PowerPoint provided and complete the activity sheets.

Topic:

As we approach the end of our Ancient Greece Topic, you will create a presentation about this period of history. You will have two weeks to complete it.

Consider what areas of the topic have interested you most.

You might summarise everything you have learnt about over the past few weeks or research an area you want to discover more about.

Your presentation can be presented however you wish, it may be a 3D model, a PowerPoint presentation or a poster.

PSHE:

Wellbeing: How can we turn negative thoughts into positive thoughts? Is it always easy to see the positive in situations?

Complete the activity sheet with an adult. Try and encourage positive thoughts and actions, you may wish to complete the journal attached where you can record your thoughts and feelings.

Transition to Secondary School: Read the PowerPoint and complete the transition activities with the support of an adult, talk through your thoughts and feelings. Additional guidance is also attached for parents.

RE:

Read the information on the PowerPoint about the Quran and complete the activity sheet.
