Week beginning: 1st June 2020
The children have a Maths and English task set daily and one Topic, Science and Spellings task which can be completed at any point over the week. Please scroll down to find the weekly activities at the bottom of this page.
As always, please encourage your child to read daily and complete their yellow reading record.

Practise your spellings daily using one of the activities from our school's spelling approach:
We are continuing with our topic on ‘Sound’. We are going to learn about how sound travels and make your own telephone!
Our topic is called ‘Save our Planet! We need to take care of our planet in lots of different ways. Some animals in the world have suffered when this has not happened… we call them endangered species. Carry out some research of your own to find out why certain species are endangered and what can be done to help. There are lots - so don't worry if you can't find them all!
We are going to continue learning about the religion ‘Sikhism’. This week, read about the Sikh gurus and choose one to write about.
Things I’m learning about this week: How kindness can help me and other people.
Things I can think about…
Make some medals for those who have shown kindness including yourself!
